PROCESS
1. Briefing
Every project begins with understanding your goals. Before any work starts, we discuss how you live, your aesthetic aspirations, budget, and timescale. We carry out a feasibility study and basic survey to prepare an early scope of works and provisional cost estimate, giving you a realistic foundation from the very start. This stage ensures clarity, alignment, and a shared vision before any design work begins.
2. Concept Design
We explore layout possibilities, spatial flow, mood, and material direction in order to understand how the space can function and feel at its best. This stage includes initial floor plans, mood boards, and design studies that capture the essence of your future space. The aim is to define a clear and authentic design direction that reflects both your lifestyle and the architecture of your home.
3. Developed Design
In this stage, we refine and update the design concept, floor plan, and overall direction based on the outcomes of Stage 2. We begin shaping the project in more detail, adjusting layouts, materials, and key elements as needed. The scope of works and shopping list are also updated to reflect these developments, ensuring the design moves forward with clarity, accuracy, and alignment.
4. Technical Design
We produce all technical documents required to execute the design during construction, including detailed drawings, specifications, and coordinated information for contractors. Where specialist input is needed, we advise on the appropriate consultants or trades to ensure the project is fully supported and accurately delivered.
5. Construction
During the build, we oversee the execution of our designs through regular site visits and close communication with contractors. We guide procurement, coordinate deliveries, and monitor both progress and budget to ensure the work is carried out as specified. Our role is to resolve issues promptly, maintain clear communication, and ensure the construction phase runs smoothly and according to plan.
6. Handover
As the project reaches completion, we dress the space with furnishings, textiles, and artwork, bringing depth and character to your home. We carry out final inspections, confirm that all installations are correct, and resolve any outstanding details. This stage delivers a fully finished space—built and presented to a high standard and ready for use.
